Early morning coffee and with packed lunch, start the scenic drive Northwest through the “Luwero Triangle,” Masindi and Budongo Forest to Murchison Falls National Park. Proceed to the spectacular “Top of the Falls” for a picnic lunch. This is The Murchison Falls where The Nile squeezes through a 7 meter canyon, dropping 150 meters with a thunderous roar, creating a beautiful rainbow and a plume of spray.
Enjoy the sunset as you drive to Paraa Safari Lodge (up market), or Red Chilli Rest Camp (budget).

Your guide will help you spot Elephant, Lion, Cape Buffalo, Rothschild Giraffe, Hartebeest, Water buck, Oribi, Bushbuck, Reedbuck, Hyena and if you are lucky, the Leopard. Return to Hotel for Lunch. After lunch, go for the 17km boat ride upstream the Victoria Nile to the bottom of the Falls, stopping just tens of meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron”. Day 6Kibale Forest Chimp tracking and Queen

Early breakfast and go with packed lunch to Uganda Wildlife Authority visitor centre Kanyanchu where the Chimp tracking starts. Spend the morning in search of chimpanzees and other primates including L’hoestes, Red Colobus, Blue, Red-tailed and Grey-cheeked Mangabey. Your guide will be at hand to give you detailed information on primates as well as the forest fauna and flora. While tracking, you will also view plenty of bird life and seeing primates at close quarters.
After picnic lunch, depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park and the drive offers you spectacular views of the mystical Ruwenzori Mountain range. Day 7Queen Elizabeth NP

Start the day with coffee and go for early morning game drive. This will take you through the Kasenyi trail and the Explosion craters area. Queen Elizabeth National Park is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife because of its diverse eco-system of tropical forest, grassy plains, swamps, rivers, lakes and numerous volcanic craters. The game drives with the massive Rwenzoris in the background provide excellent opportunities to see lion, leopard, giant forest hog, cape buffalo, elephants, water buck, Uganda Kob, Topi and bush buck. Return to Mweya for lunch.
After lunch go for the two hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This trip takes you through possibly the highest concentration of hippos. The launch cruise offers an excellent platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. There is prolific and colourful bird life with well over 550 resident species.
Dinner and overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge (up market), Kingfisher or Engazi (Mid range).

Day 8Bwindi

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest located in south-western Uganda on the edge of the Western Rift Valley. The drive takes you through the Southern Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you may see the famous Tree Climbing lions. Bwindi is one of the largest natural forests in East Africa, supporting a large number of plants and animals not found elsewhere. About half the world’s population of 700 mountain gorillas reside in Bwindi.
The vegetation, as the park’s name implies, is composed of tropical rainforest with dense undergrowth. This rugged terrain makes hiking in search of gorillas strenuous work. Visitors who want to trek should be prepared for up to 8 hours of hiking. Good physical condition is required.
A maximum of only 24 permits per day are available for advance booking, so confirmation 2-12 months in advance is required to avoid disappointment. Along with the gorillas, there are nine other species of primates including chimpanzee, blue monkey, red-tailed monkey, L’Hoeste’s monkey, black and white colobus, potto, Demidoffs and needle-clawed galago. 347 species of birds have been recorded in Bwindi; 7 species are listed as endangered. Species of particular interest include the Kivu Ground Thrush, White-bellied Robin Chat, Red-throated Alethe, Collared Apallis, Short-tailed Warbler, Yellow-eyed Black Flycatcher, Rwenzori Batis, Blue-headed Sunbird, Strange Weaver and the Shelley’s Crimson-wing. Over 200 species of butterflies have also been recorded here.
Overnight at Mahogany Springs (upmarket) or Buhoma Community Bandas (budget).

Day 9Bwindi Gorilla Tracking

After an early morning breakfast and briefing from Park ranger guides, start your Gorilla Trek through steeply forested and beautiful landscape along several animal trails. The climax of the adventure is the opportunity to view the gentle and endangered mountain Gorillas which is an exciting and unforgettable experience. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.
After tracking, you depart for Kabale, arriving at Lake Bunyonyi in the evening. Enjoy the breathtaking beauty and soothing environment of the Lake with a stunning view of the beautiful Mount Muhavura ranges. For bird lovers, Bunyonyi is home to several bird species like the African Harrier Hawk, Yellow-backed and spectacled weavers, Levillant cuckoo and lots more birds.
Dinner and overnight at Bunyonyi Wildlife Resort Kyahugye Island

Day 10 Transfer to Kampala

After breakfast, you will take a boat ride and visit some of the 29 historical islands. Thereafter start your journey back to Kampala with great memories of the adventure. You will have a stopover in Mbarara for lunch and photo opportunity at the Equator, arriving Kampala in the evening. You proceed to Entebbe Airport for your late evening flight.
