8 days highlights of Rwanda

Arrive Kigali Airport early morning. You will o for the city tour of Kigali. Make a visit to the Genocide Memorial. and transfer to Nyungwe Forest. If time allows, you may pass Butare
Overnight at Chezlando Hotel (medium budget) /Kigali Serena Hotel (high budget)

Transfer to Butare where you will visit the National Museum and Nyanza Hill. Afterwards transfer to Nyungwe Forest.
Overnight at Gisakura Guesthouse (medium Budget) /Nyungwe Forest Lodge (High Budget).

Nyungwe is one of East Africa’s largest forests with 13 monkey species and chimpanzees. You will go for a nature walk through the forest in search of Chimpanzees and monkeys. For bird lovers, you will see a variety of forest birds. You may opt for the Waterfall Trail.
Overnight at Gisakura Guesthouse (medium Budget) /Nyungwe Forest Lodge (High Budget).

We drive to Kibuye on the shores of Lake Kivu, where we will have lunch. After lunch we proceed to Gisenyi where we will spend the night.
Overnight at Paradise Malahide (medium Budget) /L. Kivu Serena Hotel (High Budget).

Relax at the beach in the morning or go for a nature walk along the shore. In the afternoon, we drive to Volcanoes National Park.
Overnight Muhabura Hotel (Medium Budget)/Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge (High Budget).

After breakfast, we bring you to where your Gorilla tracking starts. Here, the Park wardens will brief you about the tracking and you start your Gorilla tracking.
After an hour’s viewing, you trek back to the Lodge.

Today you have options to choose from (one activity included): You may go for a nature walk in the Park, or Climb a volcano or visit Dian Fossey’s Grave.
You may opt to have another Gorilla tracking, or visit the twin lakes of Ruhondo and Burera.

After breakfast transfer to Kigali for your outbound flight.
